New & Exciting: An Interactive Author Dinner Experience!

There's no doubt whatsoever that an interest in cooking is surging all around us. Either people are watching instructional cooking shows on TV, getting caught up in reality cooking contests, following a favorite celebrity chef, or attending cooking classes. They are also forming gourmet dinner clubs, hosting progressive dinner parties, and attending secret suppers.

No matter what your involvement, the bottom line is, it's all fun!

Which is why I came up with my exciting new concept for:

IN THE KITCHEN WITH MARIA:
An Interactive Author Dinner Experience

The way it works is this: People -- foodies and non-foodies alike -- will get together a group of friends or family members or business associates or clients who are willing and eager to roll up their sleeves, don an apron, and prepare a hands-on meal together from my book in their private (or corporate) kitchen. I will then personally assist and guide this group through all the steps of each recipe, while answering any questions they may have about the recipes, the chefs, or the making of my book. I will include a PowerPoint presentation as well if desired. We will then all sit down and enjoy the meal together, continuing our conversation and enjoying a perfect wine pairing.

It's part instructional, part informative, part eye-opening, part thought-provoking, part fascinating, part entertaining...but all a great time!

This would make a unique idea for a dinner club, a book club, an organization's team-building event, a client summit/retreat, a fundraiser auction item, a ladies luncheon, a birthday party, etc. In fact, the possibilities are endless.
